Zhou Yi, female, born in June 1959, is a medical worker and a photography enthusiast who embarked on her photographic journey in 2016. She is a member of the Global Photographic Union (GPU) and China Photography Network.
Her creations mostly focus on architectural and humanistic themes. Her work “Ice and Snow World” won a gold medal at the 2024 Singapore Photo Circuit and another gold medal in the Color category of the 2024 CPC International Photography Circuit Exhibition.
Her photo “Dialogue” received an gold medal in the Color Category at the Photovivo International Photography Award Circuit 2024.
Two of her works, “Tranquility” and “Vocation,” received honorable mention in the Architecture category at the 2023 International Photography Awards (IPA).
Her work “Oda” was featured on the cover of China’s “Urban and Rural Development” magazine in August 2022. Additionally, “Grassland Hero” and “Girls’ Chase” were included in “Beautiful Border Regions: Scenery as a Painting, Folk Customs Exhibition” on China Xinhua News Agency’s app on July 30, 2022.
“Wudian” series won the “Excellent Architectural Photographer Award” at the 2nd World City Cultural Landmark Architectural Art Photography Exhibition in 2022.
Six pieces from her “Evening Drum and Bell Tower” series were selected for the “2023 Beijing Central Axis Cultural Photography Exhibition.
” Two of her works, “New Year Dragon Dance” and “This Is It,” were exhibited at the 2024 “Chinese New Year Flavor” National Documentary Exhibition. Her work “Beijing City Library – Embrace” was published in China’s “Architecture” magazine to celebrate its 70th anniversary and she was honored with the title of “Excellent Architectural Photographer” at the celebration ceremony.
