Zhang Xiaoyu was born on May 23, 1969 in Shanghai. He has worked in the finance profession for five companies  in the past 30 years.. He start to practise photograpy regularly since 2018 and has made a few achievement from then on. The followings are the most prominent ones:

2018-2019 Study photography in the Beijing Photography Correspondence Institute Shanghai Branch, with photos “Anchang Impression”, ” Rhythm of The Stairs” selected in the exhibition and recieved  honorary title of excellent students of Beijing Photography Correspondence Institute;

In 2018, Zhang Xiaoyu took part in photo training course organized by Shanghai Photographers Association;

Photo won Third Prize in the Mobile Phone category of Shanghai Open University Cup / Shanghai Fashion Street Photography Competition;

Photo “Old Venerable” exhibited at 2018 Shanghai International Photography Festival;

Documentary work “Arrogance” and “Encounter Chinese Valentine” selected in the 2017-2018 Shanghai Photographers Association Photography Vocational Training Center Biennial;

Photo”Robot Guide” selected in the 70th Anniversary Since Liberation Themed Photography Exhibition;

Photo “Afternoon Ride” selected in the centenary exhibition  of Yuyuan Garden to commemorating the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up;

Photos exhibited on the website of China Photographers Association;

Gained the membership of Image Copyright Society of China in 2019;

Photo “New Year’s Lanterns” received the best composition award of the New Era Photography Annual Competition in 2020;

Photo “Sentinel in the Square” won the Bronze Award of the 11th Photography Art Exhibition in Hong Kong;

Photo “Bird in the Woods” was selected for the 3rd Huaxia Photography Kunpeng Award in April 2021;

Photos were selected for the 2021 Pingyao Photo Festival and the 2021 Lishui Photo Festival;

Many Photos received gole medals in international photo competitions;

Huangshan Mountain

Huangshan Mountain Scenic Area is located in the south of Anhui Province, China, and is part of the south mountain range of China. The beauty of Mount Huangshan is at the peaks, which are exquisite and unique with its own characteristics. Lotus Peak is located in the middle of Huangshan Mountain, is the highest peak of the mountain. Lian Hua Peak (Lotus Peak) has an elevation of over 1873 meters. Its shape resembles a lotus blossom, giving the peak its name. Along the way up to the peak,  there are other sights of interest. Photos in this collection were made in 2011, 2018 and 2022.
