Handmade copper pot is an ancient craft passed down generation after generation. A handmade copper pot usually takes eight to ten days, and requires nearly a hundred procedures to complete, including cutting, hammering, precision forging, shaping, chiseling, welding, and more than a dozen techniques such as hook, drop, string, point, table, press, mining, and wiring, at least thousands of times of hammering. Master Tan from Xikou Town, Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province has inherited this traditional handicraft and hope to pass it down with his perseverance.
