Yang Shenghua is born and raised in Fenghuang, Xiangxi to Tujia Ethnic family. He is a veteran photographer, experienced photography technician and judge for photo competitions, and lecturer for photography workshops and courses. He is a member of China Photographer Association and also actively serves important position in major photo associations such as Vice Chairman of China Professional Photographers Association, China Art Photographers Society, China Drone Photography Association, Hunan Folklore Photography Association, etc.,.
In the past years of photography life, he was hailed as “Professional Photography Award Winner” received numerous honorary titles and awards, and the followings are most prominent ones: Top Ten Excellent Chinese Photographers, Top Ten Best Fashion Photographers, Top Ten Best Chinese Photographers, Top Ten Photographers for Annual National Photography Art Exhibition and so on.
Start from 1980 when he launched his photography career, he published more than 10,000 images in magazines and websites, and more than 20,000 images received acceptance in photo competitions from more than one hundred countries and regions, and even 2000 more images won medal awards. He is also a most sought-after judge and lecturer invited by over 100 photo events at home and abroad.
