Xu Jie graduated with a major in Chinese. He studied philosophy in Fudan University. He used to worked as a manual labor and a full-time league cadre.
When he was young, he liked literature. He has published more than 300,000 words of poetry, novels and other literary works and two personal collections. In 1983, he was admitted to Shanghai People’s Radio Station as an editor through public recruitment, and then worked as a reporter, editor, and editor in chief in many Chinese and foreign media. Later, he founded a company and engaged in studying abroad and international exchange. After retirement, he fell in love with painting and photography, and his works were featured by many photography platforms.
