Yang Weiyu, Female, is a member of Global Photographic Union (GPU), China Women Photographers Association, China Digital Photographers Association, and Hunan Photographers Association. She is Director of Hunan Folk Photographers Association, Director of Xiangtan Photographers Association, and Vice Chairman of Xiangtan Women Photographic Committee.
She participated in the training course offered by Hunan Photographers Association in Yueyang in 2018. In 2019, she participated in the advanced photography course of Longyinglang Gallery and she also participate in the photo course held by the Chinese Photographers Association at the Sanmenxia in 2021.
Started photography in 2006, Yang Weiyu’s photos have been exhibited in photography exhibitions in many countries including the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Greece, and China. More than 100 photos have awarded and accepted in photography competitions.

A glimpse of the market in western Hunan
The Xiangxi market is a spiritual home that connects the outside world, solves the needs of life, and strengthens community ties. Over the years, it has remained the same for many years.
The small vendors were found in all corners of the streets, waiting for peole to do small business. Some children are sitting in the basket, leaning next to the adults, looking sad, hopeful or confused. Each image touches the soul the viewers. So I can’t stop to take picture of the local market in this area.
