About The photos
I tried a new shooting techniques for this group of photos. On the beach at the seashore, I try to blow up the sand in the wind, and recorded the dynamics of the moment with the high-speed shutter. After countless attempts, I was surprised to find that this flying sand weaves all kinds of marvelous and abstract animal images in the wind with elegant gestures, as if it came from an untouchable world. Thus, I completed this group of photos after adjustments in post-production.
It is a new challenge of shooting appraoch and a new breakthrough in creative thinking. The work shows the dancing sand in an abstract form, which triggers our philosophical thinking about “between imaginable and unimaginable”, “between likeness and unlikeness”. It makes us realize that things do not have only one definite form and definition, but are full of infinite possibilities and unknown mysteries. And it inspires us to go beyond appearances and explore the deeper realm behind things.
