Tony Davies, LRPS, AWPF, GPU Hermes, CPAGB, EFIAP, GPU2Cr, BPE1*.
A self-taught amateur photographer living in Llandudno. North Wales, UK. Many hours of my spare time have been spent taking photographs and studying the various techniques required to improve my skills.
Retiring from work in 2015 I joined Conwy Camera Club and soon started entering club competitions, exhibitions and salons.
I gained my Licentiate of The Royal Photographic Society in November 2015 my CPAGB in April 2017, my AWPF in 2018 and my GPU Aphrodite in 2019 followed by GPU Hermes in 2020.
Many of my photographs have been accepted into salons and exhibitions, both within the UK and overseas. I continue to enjoy and immerse myself in photography. In 2019 I was appointed as the GPU UK Representative and now sit on the Governing Board of GPU.
I recently became the North Wales Photographic Association (NWPA) delegate to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) executive committee.
I believe that patience is one of the most important characteristics that help to make a good photographer.
