Mainak Dey, a Software Engineer by Profession, carries a great passion towards different genres of Photography and takes out time to run behind them to fulfill the hunger for passion.
Being a self taught Photographer, he started his journey with Fashion and Glamour Photography and gradually upskilled himself with different Indoor lighting techniques and Creative portraiture.His works on environmental Portraits also display different shades and dimensions of people in various moods from different regions.
His fashion portraits are always very uniquely characterized by the chiaroscuro and the ambience created.
With an experience of more than 10 years in Fashion Portraits,His photographs also disperse from beautiful landscapes to the stories of people from different races, religions and countries. During his development as a Fashion Portrait photographer, he has also left mark in Travel and Wildlife Photographies in parallel.
In the Journey of his Photographic career, Mainak has won more than 1000 International awards from as many as 62 countries countries across the globe.
He has been awarded as the Best Photographer in different International Photography contests and honoured with twelve Photographic Distinction by different Leading Photography Organisations. Mainak also mentors people about Creative Indoor Lighting techniques and fashion Portraits. He has served as a panel judge in numerous International Photo contests.
So far, the images clicked by Mainak has been exhibited in 66 different countries spanning all the continents.
As a visual artist, Mainak always looks for new learnings and shares his knowledge with fellow Photographers to make the Photographic journey more collaborative Globally.
Mainak Also currently serves as PSA Portrait Photography Mentor Globally to help fellow photographers aeround the world in the genre of Portrait Photography.
