Luo Wenjie, male, was born in 1965 in Shanghai. He is a member of multiple photo associations, such as China Photographers Association (CPA), Images Copyright Society of China (ICSC), China Photography Artist Association, Royal Photographic Society (RPS), Photographic Society of Americ (PSA), and Global Photographic Union (GPU). He is the recipient of MPSA title and GPU Crown-4 title (the first person receives the highest GPU Crown distinction in mainland China), He is ranked 3rd place in the travel category in PSA world photographer list 2019. He also won several honorary titles, including “Best Top Ten Photographer” in Global Chinese Photographers event in 2017 and 2018, PSA China “Best Top Ten Photographer” awards from 2018 to 2020, 6th China Golden Horse Award for Photography. Besides, his works won awards and were accepted by major photo competitions and exhibitions, among which are 400 more medals.
He is particularly fond of landscape, documentary of people and life photography. His signature style is that each frame is vigorous and atmospheric, full of tension and yet does not miss out on the poetic sense. One may find refined and detailed expression in the magnanimity, as well as rich humanistic feelings in simplicity. In the past 20 years of photography practice, he has traveled all over China and visited Xinjiang more than ten times to photo it in depth in the course of ten years, during which he has created many excellent works from the Sichuan Tibet Plateau, Tianshan Mountain to the north of the great wall and the south of the Yangtze River.
