Louis has been dedicated to photography since 1996 when he took the plunge and enrolled in a local beginners evening course. He continued studying photography by taking additional courses, photography seminars and workshops but also by reading all the books available.

Subsequently Louis earned the AMPS and FMPS distinctions from the local photographic Society and also EFIAP and PPSA from international associations.

His photos have been exhibited in various collective exhibitions both internationally and on the local scene. He had also three solo exhibitions in his native country.

Louis was the President of the Malta Photographic Society for 12 years up till December 2020, whilst actively evolving his artistic expression.

Louis’s artistic photography ranges from the figurative art to his latest passion for impressionist, abstracts, architecture and fine art photography.
