Lou Guishan is a United Nations “International Artist for Peace” and an IPA-certified senior international photographer. He is a member of the Chinese Photographic Society (the earliest photographic organization in China, founded in 1925), a member of Global Photographic Union (GPU), a member of Photographic Society of America (PSA), etc.
Since the 1970s, he has been involved in the creation of fine arts and photography, and has made remarkable achievements. In recent years, focuses on the theme of wildlife, natural ecology, folklore and people and culture and other photographic art creation, and more than 6,000 works have been awarded the gold, silver, bronze and other medals in domestic and international photography competitions.
He has participated in influential photography exhibitions for several times. Among them, the works exhibited in the 20th Pingyao International Photography Exhibition in September 2020; the 15th and 17th Huangshan (Yixian) International Rural Photography Exhibition respectively in November 2020 and 2022, and the 14th China Photography Art Festival and the 5th Swan City – China Sanmenxia Nature and Ecology International Photography Exhibition and so on. He has won many awards in international and domestic photography art events.
