Liu Xuzhong, male, Han nationality, born in October 1955 in Siyang, Jiangsu Province. Now he is a member of GPU and a member of Jiangsu Photographers Association.
About the Photos
This photo series was made at the Xijie Ferry Fair along the Minjiang Rive in Leshan City of Sichuan Province in May 2023. On the morning of a market day, villagers from the surrounding villages gather here, some riding an electric bicycle, some walking, some arriving from the other side of the river by ferry; there are selling and buying on the market, most of the daily necessities, but also agricultural items; there are hairdressers, medical treatment of physical therapy, and teahouse where people sitting and chatting; which is very lively.
