Lin Guojun started his photography career in the military base where he serves as a photographer. He is a member of China Photographers Association, excellent student of the Provincial Membership Enhancement Class of Beijing Photography Correspondence Instruction College. He has photographed famous figures including Li Shuangjiang, the Chinese military singer; Ms. Pan Duo, the first Chinese woman to climb Mount Everest, the roof of the world; Lang Ping, the world champion Chinese women’s volleyball coach; Xu Haifeng, the first Chinese athelete to win the Olympic Games shooting champion.

He is a member of Global Photographic Union, Photographic Society of America, Royal Photographic Society; Images Copyright Society of China, Chinese Folklore Photography Association, China Artistic Photography Society, China Entrepreneurs Photography Association, China Workers Photographers Association, China Old Photographers Association, China Forestry Photography Association, Beijing Photography Collection Association, Anhui Photographers Association, Hefei Photographers Association, and member of the National Council of Jiuzhou Photography.

Almost Hundreds of photos have been awarded the gold medals, first/second/third prize and merit award in domestic and international competitions. In 2023, he was awarded the “Medal for Outstanding Photographers in Tribute to the People’s Congress” and the “Top Ten Chinese Landscape Photographers in 2022”. Some of his works have been included and permanently collected in the “Sino-German Photography Yearbook”, “China Art Photography Yearbook” etc.,.
