I have been interested in photography seriously since around 1991 when I joined my local camera club.

I entered a few Salons in the 1990’s and gained a few acceptances.

In 2021, I decided, as a New Years Resolution, to start entering salons once more. To my delight, I gained several acceptances, what was more surprising was that I started gaining awards.

Slowly, but surely, I gained more and more. I started collecting distinctions and can now use the following. CPAGB BPE2* AFIAP GM.APS GPU CR-2

The images I have submitted have all received awards of some description. Varying from Honourable Mentions through to Gold Medals from various organisations. I have amassed 93 awards in total.

My photography covers most genres, if it moves, I’ll shoot it. If it doesn’t move, I’ll shoot it.

My most successful images have been ‘Creative’ images, however, Natural History, Architecture and Sports have also done well for me.

I am gradually heading towards GPU CR-3, and hopefully further down that road.

I have been lecturing to camera clubs for around 15 years and have recently started judging. I enjoy sharing my images and looking at the work of other photographers.
