Jin Nanyang is from Wenling and active in new art media group. She works in the finance sector. She is a senior photographer and a member of China Photographers Association, China Photography Copyright Association. She serves a member of director board of Wenling Photographers Association and acts as Vice Chairman of Wenling Women Photographers Association. Besides, she is also a visiting lecturer of Quanzhou Huaguang Vocational College.

She became a member of Global Photographic Union (GPU), as well as Zhejiang Photographers Association. She also completed training course offered by Beijing Photography Correspondence Academy.
