Life on the Beach
Beach life in South Africa.
On the west coast it is sometimes a bit special. The water is cold because of the Humboldt Current and the wind is omnipresent.
For the kite surfers it is an El Dorado. For the sun-seekers, it can get a little uncomfortable at times. Until a few years ago, the beaches were mainly populated by white people. They wanted to get a tan. In the meantime, however, the coloured population has also recognized and learned to love the charm of the beaches.
