Geboren bin ich im Jahr 1951, seit 1964 fotografiere ich, ebenfalls seit 1964 bin ich Mitglied des FOTOKLUB GRAZ der ÖBB, seit 1981 Mitglied des ÖVF ( Österreichischer Verband der Fotografie) und von 1986 bis 2022 habe ich den Fotoklub geleitet.

Mein erstes Foto war 1965 in einer Ausstellung zu sehen. Bei vielen Ausstellungen war ich Mitorganisator, einige Ausstellungen waren Personalausstellungen, mein Interesse ist aber die erfolgreiche Teilnahme an Fotowettbewerben.

Inzwischen wurde ich schon mehrfach zu nationalen und internationalen Bewerben als Juror eingeladen, eine manchmal langwierige, dafür aber umso interessantere Aufgabe.

I was born in 1951, I have been taking photographs since 1964, I have also been a member of the ÖBB’s FOTOKLUB GRAZ since 1964, a member of the ÖVF (Austrian Association of Photography) since 1981 and I headed the photo club from 1986 to 2022.

My first photo was shown in an exhibition in 1965. I was a co-organizer of many exhibitions, some exhibitions were personal exhibitions, but my interest is in successful participation in photo competitions.

In the meantime, I have been invited to be a juror several times at national and international competitions, a task that is sometimes tedious but all the more interesting.
