Chen Ying， GPU-CR1， was born in September 1956, from Hanjiang District, Putian City, Fujian Province. She is Vice Chairwoman of Putian Photographers Association, Council member of Fujian Photographers Association and honorary chairwomen of Putian Female Photographers Association. She is a member of China Photographers Association, and Global Photographic Union (GPU).
