Barbara Schmidt, a retired graduate in administration, was born in the Ruhr region of North Rhine-Westphalia and still lives in Germany. Since May 2014, as a self-taught photographer, she has been taking pictures with her Fuji XT 2 of everything that catches her interest, with a preference for modern architecture.
Since the 1st acceptance on 21.03.2016 at the International DVF Photo Cup, there have been more than 10000 acceptances with 1100 awards in the international competitions alone.
In the German Association of Photography (DVF) she holds the title Artist of the DVF and in all renowned international associations she holds high titles.
Barbara has been a juror at more than 100 international competitions.
