Anne has been passionate about photography since her first trip, to the end of the world, in 1979… She wanted to record the colorful world of the Solomon Islands, India, Venice…
Subsequently, she preferred black and white, which forced her to go to the essentials without being “distracted” by color; Parisian street scenes also called for black and white.
Anne continues to combine photography with travel. She loves street photography and photojournalism but also landscape photography.
Among her favourite photographers, are Yousuf Karsh for his character portrayal, Sebastiao Salgado for his backlighting, Henri Cartier Bresson for his framing and Ansel Adams for his shades of grey.
Born in Salisbury in England, she spent some thirty years in the Chevreuse valley near Paris, and has now settled in Brittany, where she opened her Fine Art photography studio in 2017 at the port of St Goustan in Auray.
She has been a member of Saclay Visions Photoclub, Limours Photoclub and La Gacilly Photoclub. Anne obtained EFIAP in 2014, PPSA in 2016, Hon CPE in 2022.
Anne has exhibited in many places including the Festival de La Gacilly, the Grand Palais and the Orangerie du Sénat in the Jardin du Luxembourg, Paris.
