Udayan Sankar Pal has travelled a long way from the bare feet camera toting village lad to a selective shutterbug and a passionate pursuer of the art of photography in all its forms. He truly believes that photography became his religion when he was 14 years old, about 30 years ago. People & their day to day activities attract him most as a subject. He has over 5000+ acceptances and has received 570 Awards from 90 Countries so far.
Udayan’s interest in photography extends to many other aspects beyond just clicking photographs. He has established the only international Archive of Photography Exhibition (threedots.in) in the world with over 10,000 brochures in his collection. He is also extremely proud of his personal library spanning over 2500 titles of rare and iconic books on photography.
He says photography is all about the eye. You either see things or are influenced to see things. Being a non-professional photographer, it’s his intense passion that inspires him to interact with people and to know our world better.
