Sun Zuoyi, born in 1953 in Xi’an, Shaanxi, had a 43 year military career.He has been engaged in cultural propaganda work for over 30 years. He is a member of the China Aviation Society, the China Workers’ Photographers Association, the China Artistic Photography Society, and the China Photographers Association for the Seniors.

He uses Canon and Sony photography equipment. In the mid-1980s, he entered the field of photography and his works covered multiple themes such as news, scenery, ecology, and humanities. Among them, several works were published in provincial and municipal media such as People’s Daily, Economic Daily, Guangming Daily, and Shaanxi Daily.In recent years, multiple photography works have been awarded the gold, silver medals and selected in international and domestic photography competitions.
