Shenal Silva is an art photographer in Sri Lanka who is an audio engineer and a student of mechatronics engineering. He started his photography career in 2017 because of his passion for photography, and he is a self-taught photographer. There onwards he gained a lot of knowledge about photography especially in travel, landscape and nature photography. He did lots of field trips over the past few years, and day by day he started to improve his skills. From the beginning he used Nikon cameras and lenses which were a great help in his travel and nature photography. In 2021 he created his pathway to international competitions and exhibitions.

Shenal’s works consist of monochrome, color, travel, creative & nature images. His photographs have been exhibited in international competitions in Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, UAE & Cyprus.
