I am passionate about photography, a passion for my leisure time.

I was born in Romania on November 23, 1957 and have been living in the city of Craiova ever since.

I’m graduate of the faculty of Natural Sciences – Informatics and I’m programmer. I chose to complete my studies, experience and intuition in the private field, being the shareholder and manager of a pharmacy.

In 2019 I was awarded EFIAP/b. I frequently participates in international photography salons, with good results, many acceptances, and many awards and mentions. (over 1000 works, over 900 accepted works titles,over 70 awards)Since September 2019, I have been honored with the Aphrodite GPU distinction.

I has  personal exhibitions, varnished in big cities of Romania and always participates in collective exhibitions either individually both in the country and abroad (Italy, Iran, Hungary,India,Japan etc.)

I am present on social networks and can be found on INSTAGRAM, FACEBOOK with my name Rucsandra Calin or Rucsandra Calin Photograpfy.

I approaches several genres of artistic photography, favorite being: portrait, still life, compozition, fine art, street, travel, etc.
Another passion is painting, at the amateur stage, but which supports the pleasure of composition in photography. My wish is to succeed in transmitting a state through the image, offering a short story about life and beauty, bringing smiles and why not tears.
