Robert Lie is a photographer and international awards winner from Indonesia. His winning photos and articles have been published in National Geographic Traveler Indonesia & USA magazine, Asian Geographic, Forbes, Vogue Thailand, NTV Germany, Bored Panda.

He was a guest speaker in Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival 2020, Uni Emirate Arab’s Contemporary Photography Festival 2018, Leica Webinar 2020 and photography guest lecturer in Amity University Dubai in 2020.

He was selected as International Selected Artist in Exposure Photography Festival in Alberta Canada 2020 and his self published photo book Malacca Rhapsody was exhibited in the 2nd Jakarta International Photo Festival 2021. Malacca Rhapsody won Bronze medal in PX3 Paris Photo Prize and became selected book in Italia’s Urban Photo Awards 2022. He won Pangea Gold Prize in Siena Awards 2020. He is selected as Grand Jury member of the prestigious New York Photography Awards 2022.

His first photography exhibition was held by Leica Indonesia in Jakarta in 2017 and followed by other exhibitions across Indonesia, South Korea, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, Italy, Vienna, Iran, Mexico, USA, Bangladesh, Dubai, Myanmar, India and Sweden.
