Peng Yuandi is a professor of voice (soprano) at Xi’an Conservatory of Music, a soprano artist and a member of the Chinese Musicians Association. She is a member of China Women Photographers Association, Shaanxi Photographers Association and director of Shaanxi Women Photographers Association. She has been a photo enthusiast since the 1980s when she started to photo with a Seagull brand cameras, later Olympus film camera, and a variety of automatic miniature cameras. In early 2012, she bought a SLR camera, and travel all over the world to Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Africa, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Kampuchea, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, The United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and other countries and regions. She sees this kind of lifestyle with photography as a way to exercise the body and mind, and to enjoy the beautiful day which never comes back. She believes that to capture that very moment is worth of everything in life and she will carry on enjoying life and photograph.

She received awards at photo competitions in Shaanxi, and held an exhibition in Xi’an by Shaanxi Photographers Association, which was were received by other photographers. In 2016, a photo “Boy on the railway” received acceptance in Montenegro International Photography Competition and “Gaze” was accepted by Belt and Road Exhibition by China Photographers Association in 2019.
