Lyu Xinping, a native of Dongming, Shandong, was born in 1955. He is a member of the China Photographers Association and director of the China Artistic Photography Society. He has been practicing photography for more than 40 years and has established an archive of various subjects, including technology, landscapes, people, etc., Many photos have been published in newspapers and periodicals, as well as awarded and accepted in different exhibitions. The photo “Suspended” was selected in the 18th National Photography Art Exhibition in 1996. “Dream Comes True” won the gold medal in the 19th National Photography Art Exhibition in 1999. “Matrics” won the Outstanding Work Award in the 2001 Army Photography Art Exhibition. In 2006, “Light of Science” won the bronze medal in four National Art Photography Exhibitions. In 2008, the photography solo exhibition “The Glory Inside And Outside The Nest, ” was held at the China Science and Technology Museum and the Henan Science and Technology Museum respectively. In 2009, “Astronaut Underwater Training” won the Bronze Award at the first National Photography Art Exhibition for Army. “Travel Photography: Traveling to Tibet by Train” was published by Beijing Tourism Education Press. “The Bud of Life” won the Gold Medal in Singapore Photo Circuit 2023 and “Yulong Snow Mountain” and “Hour of Life” were selected.
About the Photos:
Good photography generally consists the following three elements: a strong visual impact, expressive within its frame, and creative and innovative expression. It is not easy to fulfill all three elements at the same time, but it is not impossible to pursue one or two of them step by step. This is what I have been thinking and doing for decades.
